Beaches

Home

The Cornish coast has a deserved reputation for its beauty.  In fact it's designated by the Government as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The East and West sides of the Camel estuary offer beautiful beaches.  On the west side, the beaches are about a half mile walk from Padstow.  Across the ferry to Rock and the sand dune's run round past St Enodoc's church (where John Betjeman is buried) to Daymer Bay and a beautiful deep sandy beach.

Round from Daymer Bay is the well known surfing beach at Polzeath.   About a mile and half round from Padstow is Trevone, where there is also surfing in a lovely sheltered beach.

Basically, the choice is as wide as you like.
